Botanico’s second retail site with HarborKnot in 5 years was rebuilt from the ground up on WordPress. In years prior we learned that over 75% of visitors are on a mobile device and one consistent visitor from a PlayStation. The new site was built with a mobile-first process, where the design was built and tested on smartphones before the desktop experience.
The marijuana industry has quickly been changing and Botanico tries to focus on the weed connoisseur while welcoming and informing newcomers. Each product on the site has a simple set of attached statistics such as flavor, mood, scent, and strength. A special search filter was added to the concentrates product list. This filter is an easily recognizable way of finding the concentrate you’re looking for. It was designed for the mobile user first and also looks great on laptop and desktop screens.
